Residential-Program

This is our unique, intensive, and most comprehensive pain management program. Our clinic has offered this program since 1979. Our data indicate that 80% of patient who complete this program report 50% or greater improvement overall.

Specific benefits vary, of course, by individual, but may include pain reduction, increased pain coping skills, reduction and stabilization on appropriate medications, improved quality of life, improved mood, increased activity level, improved sociability, increased confidence, and the list goes on.

Treatment length varies, but typically ranges between 2-6 weeks. Daily activities (Monday through Friday) begin at 8:30 am and end between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Although we no longer have a connected motel site, we can help you arrange for reasonably-priced and comfortable accommodations located less than 2 miles from the clinic (Homewood Suites on Valleydale Road). Transportation must be arranged to and from the clinic.

This intensive program provides an in-depth observation of the patient's functional capacity and tolerance for various activities. The model is similar to the well-known Mayo Clinic inpatient pain management program. However, we offer the same quality services and outcomes for a fraction of the cost.
